Perfumes are broadly grouped into families. These families are key to the design
of your perfume. Your reaction to each family will be emotional
and individual.
Professional perfumers have at their disposal approximately
3000 ingredients. The creation of a perfume can take up to
2 years and one single perfume can contain up to 300 ingredients.
To simplify the process, Perfume Lab has specially created
20 ingredient bases, described on the left, which are incorporated
into our Perfume Creator.
Like a good story a well designed perfume needs a start,
middle and an end. Consequently most fragrances are a mixture
of TOP notes which will provide initial impact, MIDDLE notes
which will give in-use character and END notes which provide
long lasting performance. By rolling your cursor over the
ingredient bases on the left, you will see which category
they fall into.

the perfume families on your right.
